Scary-A-Faire Celebration

October 31st

5:00pm – 8:00pm

Historic Downtown Upland

2nd Avenue and 9th Street.
A family friendly Halloween themed open market. The roads will be closed off, so the kids can safely trick-or-treat, as well as participate in fun interactive games and activities. There will be a costume contest from 5:00pm to 7:10pm. Dress up and be participate in the following categories; Best Character Representation, Scariest, Most Creative, Cutest, and Judges Choice. There will also be plenty of food vendors present.

Gym of Horrors

October 29th

Upland High School

565 W. 11th Street.

This one might be for the older kids. Upland High School Choir is putting on a spooky Halloween fundraiser haunted house, with Zombies, ghosts, and scary clowns included. There’s a 5$ admission fee that goes towards the choir, and they ask specifically that no guests in attendance wear any costumes please.

Halloween Pirate Treasure-Hunt

AA-U-Stor-M has been hosting a safe and free pirate themed treasure hunt every year now, and their celebrating their 10th anniversary this year in a big way. Kids of all ages can safely go from one unit to the next, following a treasure map, collecting candy and toys along the way. This year they’ll also have interactive games and events, as well as free hot dogs for everyone who comes. Also be sure to check out their singing pumpkins, coordinated to music, and singing every weekend leading up to Halloween from 7:30pm – 10:00pm.

Family Fun Spooktacular

Join the City of Rancho Cucamonga for the free 2016 Family Fun Night Spooktacular at the Rancho Cucamonga Family Resource Center. You’ll have a ghoulish good time! With trunk-or-treat stations, games and activity stations, live entertainment, delicious food for sale and a costume parade! The kids will have a blast with face painting, balloon animals, bounce houses, a spooky maze and so much more!


Water of Life, Trunk-or-Treat

Water of Life Community Church

Water of Life is hosting their annual Trunk-or-Treat. With live music, rides and attractions for the kids and piles of candy this is a wonderful a huge family fun event going on Halloween night. There will be special prizes for the trunks for categories like Best Movie Themed Car, Best Bible Themed Car, Kid’s Choice and more! Also come hungry because there’s over 13 different food trucks scheduled to be in attendance!

Halloween Howl

Bring your dog out to the Fontana Dog Park and experience this canine extravaganza. At this event your canine companion might just win a costume contest. This completely free and family fun event, presented by the Cypress Neighborhood Center will be held in the park. They will have trunk-or-treating, photo booths, carnival games, music and costume contests and so much more.

Monster Bash

Southridge Park 

Another free park event. With costume contests for 5 different age groups running from 4:30 to 5:30 there’s plenty of prizes being given away. There will also be inflatable bounce houses, food trucks and games and prizes available as well as trunk-or-treating.


Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire

October 22nd

Claremont Village

The Village Venture Arts & Crafts Faire is an autumn staple in Claremont, and this year they’re celebrating their 35th year. There will be a Parade, children’s costume contests and tons of artists and craftspersons from all over so-cal. The over 15,000 visitors that attend each year can stroll up and down the tree lined streets visiting all the exhibitors and enjoy some of the amazing food that will be for sale.

Halloween In Claremont

Claremont Village

The family friendly excitement starts with free games, entertainment and face painting. Toss in kid’s costume contests, dog costume contests and lots and lots of trick-or-treating and you have the perfect safe and family friendly Halloween night in Claremont. This year there will also be a Wildlife Presentation with the Wildlife Learning Center.


Kids Halloween Party

This small town Halloween party, sponsored by the Montclair-Ontario Junior Women’s Club, and Montclair place will have prizes, games, refreshments and candy for kids of all ages. There will also be a costume contest for several different age groups, and categories like scariest, most unique, cutest and family themed.
